Well, I got this dress because of how beautiful it looked on the huge boobed super skinny model. Mistake. I'm a large so I got it but I wasn't completely sure on the size. Sadly, large was the biggest size. It was definately skin tight. It wasn't quite ruched the way it appeared either. It looked like it was made of better material but the material does feel great. Well, I went ahead and kept mine because I'm working on losing weight so maybe I can get into it better(it still fits, it's just a little uncomfortable). To sum up, if you have even the slightest doubt about the size get a bigger one. In fact that might be a good rule in general with this item. If you wear a small, get a medium, medium, get a large. Large-lose weight or suck in a little.

This is a great buy for several reasons. The fabric is of a quality grade satin and it's got a strong zipper, its an all around flattering line for different body shapes, and PacificPlex sends out your delivery in a wink! I ordered my red version on a Wednesday morning and recieved it that Saturday afternoon. I have one issue with this dress: even though I ordered it exactly to my personal measurements (42/34/42, a 2X), it was much too large on me. I would of course have a dress that is too big than too small, however it would be very nice not to have to worry about getting it altered at all, which is what I'm doing rather than sending in for a smaller size because I am an impatient woman and don't want to wait even PacificPlex's short delivery time again.

I ordered these for my bridesmaids and could not be more thrilled with them! They are exactly the shade shown online. We were confused about the sizing chart however. So, here's a helpful hint - choose the size according to the bust measurement. Disregard the other measurements altogether. It's the cutest dress, it really is! I have 4 bridesmaids in different sizes and shapes and it looks great on them all. And of course it comes with straps and with a wrap if you want to change up the look a bit. I highly recommend this dress!

This dress is an excellent costume quality gown.
While this dress looks elegant..it photographs like a shiny nylon parachute.
Pros: Elegant design, shipped super fast, added bonus..a matching shawl and a real high quality satin sash, and the company is very professional about handling concerns about their products.
Cons: The dress is cheaply made (super cheap nylon taffeta material, no hook at the top of the bodice to secure the zipper), sized for a misses fit (not well suited for shorter people 5'4 and under), and the bodice has wire stays that stab you in the ribs when you sit.

I actually like this dress enough to add my own additional hooks and adjustments to make it last longer.

I ordered this in White and Lilac for my wedding. The Lilac is a lovely shade, and was easily matched to many items for my wedding (flowers, ribbon, flower girl dresses). The The white is for me, The Bride. I wanted a simple dress without a train for my wedding. This one is perfect. I did add a Bridal crinoline style slip to make my dress fuller tan the bridesmaids. Size is an issue! I am a 16/18 (Tops in Juniors XL, Jeans in 16) and I bought the 2X. The company sent me an XL by mistake, and I could barely get it zipped up. They promptly sent the correct size I had originally ordered (2X), and while the length of the 2X was perfect (I am 5'6") with 3.5" heels, the bust was another story. I wear a 38B (approx 41" bust) Bra and this had to be taken in a few inches at the bust line. The crystal pin is nice, not at all cheap looking. I am a 37" waist and the 2X fit with about a " room to spare so it's not too lose and it is comfortable when sitting. This dress has boning in the bust to keep the halter in shape. I had a hard time finding a seamstress who would take the bust in at the seam, most alterations places wanted to just put in darts, which made the bust line askew. The lining has tulle which does not have an under layer, so you will need a slip of some sort, unless you want to have scratchy legs all night. All in all-well worth the savings, even when I include alteration fees. It's also worth mentioning the fabric is of a Medium thickness and could be worn without a bra if need be.

I purchased this dress to wear for a romantic dinner this upcoming weekend. It arrived nicely packaged and, even though my account first stated that shipping would be delayed, it ended up coming within 3 business days of ordering.

When I opened the package (which was wrapped in lovely pink tissue), I gasped. This dress is beautiful! It is not thin or cheaply made. The applique'd flowers are far prettier in person than in the picture, and the color (Wine Red) is rich and deep. The satin shoulder straps and bodice are thick and soft too.

As for sizing, I am a 5'9" tall, 135lbs woman. I'm slender, but have curves. I'm a C-cup. I tend to wear a size 5 in pretty much everything. I bought a medium and it fits beautifully. The dress comes to above the knee. The V-cut neckline IS a bit deep, so I'll be wearing an invisible adhesive bra (AKA "chicken cutlets").

All in all, I recommend this dress. Very nice.
